We're going, like I said, beyond the basics. So let's go ahead and break this down, shall we? Let's start with attention and compliments. You know we're used to that. That's the basics. Attention and compliments. I mean they're wonderful, right, I mean like, aren't they? They make us feel seen, appreciated and valued. But, as Charles Orlando points out, these are but the initial offerings of love, the easy part, if you will. True love, the kind that stands to test of time, is built on so much more. Now, anyone can give you attention and compliments, but someone who loves you will give you that plus more. We're talking about respect, honesty, trust and loyalty. Now, this notion invites us to look beyond the surface and discover what truly sustains a loving relationship.

Okay, now let's go ahead and break these down. Let's start with respect. It's not just about the polite gestures or saying the right thing. It's about truly valuing your partner. I mean their opinions, their feelings, I mean like their entire being. And respect means understanding that your partner is a whole individual outside of your relationship. They have their dreams and fears, just like you, right?

Let's move on to honesty. This is where love gets real. Honesty isn't always pretty or easy, but it's crucial. It's about being open about your thoughts and your feelings, even when it's uncomfortable. It's the cornerstone of, like, a strong, resilient relationship. So let's be real. When you want someone to be honest with you, then to lie to you, I mean, I know I would Tell me what's up. Be real, keep it real, okay.

And that brings us on to trust, trust. Trust builds over time and that builds through your actions and experiences. It's knowing in your heart that your partner's got your back and that they'll be there for you. Enjoy and in pain, okay. It's a mutual belief that your bond is strong enough to withstand life's challenges. And we all know we all have life's challenges.

And finally we get to my favorite and what I love to the core, and it is what I stand by. Okay, it's me, it's me to the core. What I stand by. It is loyalty. Like loyalty, love loyalty. Okay.

So loyalty is the unwavering commitment to your partner and to the love you both share. It's about choosing each other every single day, day after day, through your ups and through your downs of life. Loyalty binds you together, creating a partnership that fortifies against whatever the world throws your way. Okay? So I say all of this to just say, you know, love's just. Let's reflect on that. Let's reflect on those things In our relationships. We are moving beyond the superficial Okay, we don't have time for that anymore. We're looking to cultivate respect, honesty, trust and loyalty, Because these are the pillars of a love that lasts and the kind of love that will. We all truly, pretty much deserve. And who doesn't want that, right?
